What I do

INTUITIVE PAINTING

No academies, but works of the unconscious. I believe in free exploration, in appropriating technique through play, in the exact gesture of improvisation. Start painting, the rest will come by itself.

  • I started painting for fun, around 2010: every week an artistic evening with some friends, to have fun and improvise as painters.
  • During the 2020 lockdown my need for creativity led me to intensify my exploration of painting, discovering that the intuitive approach was what intrigued me most. I started with the Full/Empty series and from there I never stopped.
  • In May 2021 Norman and I rented an atelier in the center of Turin, where we can create and grow in our journey through intuitive painting.
  • Since 2023 I organize open intuitive painting encounters in the atelier, to unleash creativity with lightness!
  • I also offer personalized mini-courses for deeper exploration and private sessions for small (or large) groups: some have wanted to celebrate their birthday by painting, and others have organized team-building events for a pleasant and carefree experience with colleagues. MUSIC

Sing and it'll pass! - What? - Everything!

  • As a child, I invented wacky and tear-jerking songs for every occasion, but fortunately I stopped.
  • As a teenager, I strummed the guitar and tried to sing the songs that moved me the most, but only if all windows were closed and no living soul passed within 100 meters. Fortunately, I didn't stop!
  • Yes, because thanks to Maria Messina I was able to slowly come out of my musical shyness shell.
  • Since 2019 I've been part of InTheCoro, an amateur choir with a repertoire of pop-rock songs from the '90s and early 2000s (yes, exactly the ones that moved me in my very shy adolescence!)
  • In 2022 Maria asked me if I could be her backing vocalist... and after a first moment of panic I broke the spell and said yes! From there we discovered that our voices go really well together, and so in 2024 we created together The Borderlive, an acoustic duo where we sing very famous songs reimagined for two voices, guitar (hers) and percussion (mine).
  • Since then we like to accompany aperitifs and events creating a delicate, refined atmosphere with some moments of pure joy (two names above all: Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera!).

CLOWN

If you can look at yourself in all your directions simultaneously, you can only laugh at the beauty of your absurdity.

  • I met the clown in 2014, in an intensive workshop with Vladimir Olshansky - yes, exactly that workshop there(link)!
  • From that moment I looked for the clown everywhere, only to realize that I had it right under my nose.
  • Thanks to Antonio Villella, I was able to deepen an approach to the human being that strips them of every mask.
  • So I met Silvia and Giorgia: since 2018 we are The Clown Angels!
  • In 2018 I also started following the Clown Through Mask path with Sue Morrison and everything became clearer: the clown is not sought, it is. Just as we are. Voilà, years of study thrown to the wind to discover that it's enough to be totally yourself to make people laugh.
  • In short, don't take me too seriously!

THEATER-DANCE, CHILDREN'S THEATER

Feeling that you can create something that transforms space, time and all of us, actors and spectators. A magic, theater, a magic that unites.

  • In 2007, the revelation: 11 strangers from all over Italy who meet, live together for a week and create a show "from nothing". Pure, vibrant energy, theater. And I who was shy and always indecisive, had the awareness that this would be my path.
  • I started in Turin, at the Casa del Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani: the Piccola Accademia, from 2007 to 2009, then an audition. Here I am Snow White!

AERIAL FABRICS

Being able to roll around in soft blankets suspended in the air, being able to fly!

  • You should know that I LOVE trial lessons. In 2011 I experienced for the first time every child's dream and every mother's nightmare when hanging out sheets: hanging and flying!
  • The early days were very frustrating (but even now, it's not exactly a walk in the park): the body had to train and get used to it. Plus I suffer from vertigo!
  • In short, a 360° challenge, a new - beautiful - game: the more I tried to be elegant the more I made my course companions laugh and my teachers lose hair.
  • Flying gracefully: I believed in it so much, I still believe in it. I made a commercial that made me believe in it even more. And there it is, finally, the clown! The tips of my feet don't stretch elegantly. But I keep trying, failing, trying again. More and more clown.
  • Sooner or later I'll create an entire show, for now I've had the chance to experiment with this and this other one!

WEBMASTER

Look Simba: one day all this will be yours.

  • For some years I've been developing websites in html: I like to give people who want to express themselves and their activity the possibility of having a virtual space free from "pre-compiled packages".
  • And after creating the website for Marco Insalata - Taijiquan master, the Stimmate kindergarten, even for The Clown Angels - female clown trio ;) ...
  • ... it seemed right to also create my own website and to do it without "having to". Making mistakes, too, but claiming my freedom of expression. I am like this, authentic, like my guiding word of 2021.
